Ports jacket, Fall style

Whether we like it or not, it’s almost November. And though Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, it also comes with some seriously brisk and rainy days. To soften the blow that is pre-Winter, I suggest investing in a coat (or two) that will keep you cozy and your outfit on-point at all times. Cool outerwear makes your outfit instantly more stylish no matter what you’re wearing underneath. As we head into colder months, you won’t regret investing in a coat that you can make part of your go-to uniform. I just picked up this oversized beauty from Ports 1961 at the McArthur Glen Outlet and it’s my best purchase of the season.

My favourites coats of the season are:

Oversized Biker Jacket: I love this style for a fresh departure from the classic moto (which I coincidentally also love). An oversized coat doesn’t feel forced though, plus you can layer lots underneath it. If you do decide to go for a moto, you can always layer a duster coat over top of it.

Longline Coat: The one coat that makes even the most boring outfit look pulled together and chic.

Faux fur: A nice way to mix things up this season. Animal print has been particularly on-trend this season…but I also love neutral colours with leather accents.
